U.S. Army Contracting Command

The Army Contracting Command (ACC) is a contracting services command of the United States Army. There are three parts to the Army Contracting Command: Expeditionary Contracting Command Brigades, Mission Installation Contracting Commands, and Contracting centers. AVATAR has supported the Army Contracting Mission for 15 years at multiple locations. Our company provided technical mission support as well as development and functional personnel. AVATAR delivered several web-based cloud solutions to improve and expand the ACC capabilities and supported their government customers in support of various R&D requirements.

U.S. Army Redstone Arsenal

Redstone Arsenal (RSA) is a United States Army post and a census-designated place (CDP) adjacent to Huntsville in Madison County, Alabama, United States and is part of the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. AVATAR provided the Army Contracting Command at RSA with SharePoint development services, supporting extensive workflow and mission automation support. Additionally, AVATAR provided data analysis, visualization and reporting services to ACC RSA and its ACC leadership.

JPEO SCIE

The JPEO-CBRND leads, manages, and directs the acquisition, fielding and sustainment of CBRN sensors, protective equipment, medical countermeasures, specialized equipment for U.S. Special Forces, integration and information management systems, and defense enabling biotechnologies. The organization also works closely with various government agencies that need CBRN defense equipment. The JPEO-CBRND is one of the Chemical and Biological Defense Program’s four components. The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense oversees this program. The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)), who is the Army Acquisition Executive, delegates JPEO-CBRND’s acquisition authority. AVATAR has developed web-based applications that support communications and decision making for the management of large IDIQ vehicles that CBRN project team must manage. Additionally, AVATAR delivered a travel management system that automated the approvals for contractor travel requirements as well as Item management toolsets that provide lifecycle capabilities for items in development.

Naval Health Research Center

The Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) researchers leverage science to optimize human performance, recovery, resilience, and injury prevention as well as develop medical planning, logistics, and decision support tools to keep our warfighters healthy and enhance operational readiness. AVATAR provided technical mission support to NHRC as well as developed SharePoint workflows and webparts that supported an online case management toolset for clinical projects.

Naval Medical Research Unit

The Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) operates seven subordinate Naval Medical Research Units that perform biomedical research to meet the needs of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. Its areas of study include infectious diseases, biodefense, military medicine, battlefield medicine, and bone marrow research. AVATAR provided mission support through web-based application development that centralized and virtualized vendor participation in various large IDIQ contract vehicles allowing a massive increase in participation on the medical countermeasures mission from nontraditional contractors and academic institutions.

Mission To tap America's underutilized workforce of individuals who are blind or have significant disabilities to deliver high quality, mission-essential products and services to Federal agencies in quality employment opportunities. Vision Remain a trusted source of supply and services for Federal agencies while creating quality employment opportunities across all economic sectors for people who are blind or have significant disabilities. AVATAR delivered a refined version of its AS-RT platform that focuses on the Federal Procurement List items that are managed through the Ability One in support of people with disabilities.

The American Battle Monuments Commission

ABMC administers, operates and maintains 26 permanent American military cemeteries and 32 federal memorials, monuments and markers, which are located in 17 foreign countries, the U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the British Dependency of Gibraltar; four of the memorials are located within the United States. These cemeteries and memorials, most of which commemorate the service and sacrifice of Americans who served in World War I and World War II, are among the most beautiful and meticulously maintained shrines in the world. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

AVATAR Computing, in partnership with Portland Webworks and Stratcomm Inc, is thrilled to announce our pivotal role in developing a transformative application for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This landmark project, the Conflict Analysis (CA) website and intervention, offers a personalized online whole health intervention tailored to support our nation's Veterans, with a specific focus on rural communities that may lack robust in-person mental health resources.

The Office of Naval Research is the catalyst of future naval power, ensuring technological dominance for our fleet and force. With a workforce that includes some of the top PhDs and engineers in the world in their fields, ONR finds the best minds from across the nation and around the globe, sponsoring new research and creating new capabilities for America’s Sailors and Marines. AVATAR supported ONR research with mission support and project management for ONR Future Naval Warrior Design Concept Effort with portfolio management of personal protective equipment technologies.

Vietnam War Memorial Commission

Across the Nation, Americans are uniting to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. This is the main focus of The United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration—a national 50th anniversary commemoration, authorized by Congress, established under the secretary of defense, and launched by President Barack Obama in 2012. Congress penned a total of five objectives, with the primary being to thank and honor our Vietnam veterans and their families, for their service and sacrifice on behalf of the Nation. AVATAR is proud to be supporting this effort with technical web publishing support and top tier video development.

Mission Planning Program Office

The Mission Planning Program Office develops mission planning software that supports global flight operations of all USAF flying units. The program office collaborates mission planning software development with all the sister services and over 20 allied air forces to meet the broad spectrum of mission execution requirements. The world class mission planning software is paramount to the reduction of operational and training missions’ risk. AVATAR supported the Air Force Mission Planning Office program for 28 years, providing subject matter expertise on planning and executing missions for B-52s and KC-135s. Provided program Management support for the B-52 Bomber and Precision Guided Weapons program offices to meet their mission planning software requirements. Provided front office support for Mission Planning Senior staff, managing executive officer support tasks.
